Building Safety, Access, and Resilience on Mount Tom

As wildfire risk increases, the community is actively adapting, with neighbors playing a growing role in protecting homes, supporting one another, and caring for the watershed, wildlife, and surrounding forests.

Mission Statement:

Mount Tom Community Fund works to create a connected, safe community through education, prevention, preparedness and effective fire, medical and other emergency response.

Community Safety in Action

Mount Tom Community Fund is working alongside fire service partners to strengthen emergency response and wildfire preparedness across our community. A dedicated local response vehicle handled approximately 70 calls last year, reflecting both the need for service and the importance of building local capacity.

Residents are encouraged to stay informed during emergency activity through tools such as the PulsePoint app and local radio scanner access.
